MASSAGE

Nicole Craigmiles LMT, CA

Nicole came to massage therapy after having her children and leaving a corporate training career. She discovered a much-needed quiet space on a massage table during a trip to Mexico. She followed her new-found interest by studying at East West College of Healing Arts and graduated in December 2016,

One of the reasons she loves massage is how happy it makes people. In our fast paced, chaotic world, people rarely stop and just breathe. Nicole believes that massage offers the space to heal by opening up tight areas of the body and giving the mind a break from life. She studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, and basic Craniosacral Therapy techniques and incorporates them into her massages.

Other than massage, Nicole loves to spend time with her family or volunteering in the community. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and paddle boarding, and spends a lot of time camping in the warmer months.

Megan Pardee LMT, CA

Megan is dedicated to enabling her clients to return to joyful lives through pain and stress reduction. Megan’s bodywork toolbox includes subtle techniques such as Craniosacral, deep therapeutic structural work, and so much in between!

Her clients find her to be warm, intuitive, and easy to talk to. She loves analyzing each person’s situation to figure out the optimal combination of bodywork techniques and self care strategies that will best support each individual. Knowing that nurturing human touch is a requirement for human health, and that the childbearing year is deeply formative for families, Megan has a special interest in supporting women through their journey of motherhood- preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery.

Megan graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2009 where she studied Swedish, Deep tissue, and myofascial. She has studied Craniosacral for Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum with Carol Gray. When not at Brightside Health, Megan enjoys yoga, martial arts, and dance. Hearth and Home Midwifery

Emily Born CPM, LDM, LM

Emily was born and raised in Olympia, WA. Is the youngest of six siblings with an extensive extended family. Family has always been a huge focus of her life and it is through family that she came to midwifery. When her niece was born through midwifery care, Emily found her drive to extend midwifery care to more families.

Emily is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). She is also a Licensed Direct-Entry Midwife (LDM) in the state of Oregon.

She believes that every person should have choice and autonomy in their birthing journey. It is her passion to serve people where they wish to give birth and be a silent witness to their journey into becoming a family. Emily has a deep trust of the birthing process.

Emily is a mom to two boys who keep her busy with their love of soccer and golf and anything outdoors. Emily is multi-talented and can be found knitting, crocheting, or sewing with her mom and sister or doing a wood working or house project with her dad and husband.

Sarah McClure

Sarah was raised on a farm in southern Michigan. From the time her mom was pregnant with her younger sister, Sarah told everyone she wanted to be a “mommy doctor.” When Sarah found midwifery, she knew she had found her calling. Midwifery is a blend of a number of Sarah’s passions: supporting women, the awe of science and nature, and the privilege of witnessing the creation of new life.

Sarah is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives, a Licensed Direct-Entry Midwife (LDM) in the state of Oregon and a Licensed Midwife (LM) in the state of Washington. She believes in birth as an opportunity for transformation and healing, and she is grounded in the midwifery model, which focuses on client-centered, holistic, and individualized care. Sarah is also an experienced herbalist and welcomes client interest in herbal and dietary approaches to treatment and management of complications that may arise during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Sarah came to Oregon thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and knew as soon as she laid eyes on Mt Hood that she had to make the Pacific Northwest her home. She speaks Spanish and spends a lot of time watching telenovelas over a bowl of ultra-salty popcorn. She’s a huge musical theater nerd and never tires of talking about Anne of Green Gables, one of her childhood heroes.

Charli Zarosinski CPM, LDM, LM

Charli was born and raised in rural Oregon. She grew up with an affinity for the outdoors, singing, and caring for living beings. Through a handful of different birth experiences in her early adult life, she learned that midwifery was her true calling.

Charli is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). She is also a Licensed Direct-Entry Midwife (LDM) in the state of Oregon and is a Licensed Midwife (LM) in the state of Washington.

Charli is deeply committed to her clients. She is drawn to supporting and honoring people as they claim the power of their own pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum experience. She is fulfilled by providing care to birthing people and their families throughout the experiences and transformations of the childbearing year. Charli values the authenticity, compassion, and vulnerability that she is both witness to and is able to express throughout her midwifery work. Charli’s sense of humor is woven into they way that she works and she believes that finding the humor in life is a way to connect throughout midwifery care.

Outside of her work as a midwife, Charli can be found playing and hiking with her husband and their dog Murphy, crushin’ it at the gym, binge-watching heartfelt reality tv shows, heavily relying on google maps to get anywhere, and laughing loudly at low brow jokes.
